Poste:
Within the Business Intelligence department of the EMEA Headquarters and under the responsibility of both the Business & Data Analyst and Market Data Analyst, you will assist in performing market and product analysis to aid the company’s portfolio planning.
In order to carry out your missions you will work collaboratively with diverse Bandai Namco teams, such as Sales , Product & Brand Management etc
Your principal responsibilities will be as follows (non-exhaustive list):
Reporting Sales & Statistical Analysis
Create dashboards on demand and propose improvements to existing ones (Power BI).
Develop sales forecasts by leveraging historical data and applying machine learning models to predict future performance (Python)
Conduct studies on product lifecycles, promotions, price elasticity, attach rates and related topics.
Produce ad-hoc analyses based on business team needs.
Market Monitoring :
Creating newsletters & market trend reports
Tracking release performance and estimating sales using historical data and predictive models
Profil:
Currently studying for a master’s degree in business or engineering, with a specialisation in statistics, data analysis, data science or equivalent
A first internship, particularly in the field of data and business analysis, would be a plus
A good understanding and interest for the video game and entertainment industry is highly appreciated
Proficiency in English, both written and oral
French is mandatory
Good understanding and skilled in statistics: modeling, regression, clustering, etc.
Proficiency in Python (pandas, seaborn, numpy...), SQL & Power BI
Advanced Excel skills (DCTs, macros, formulas)
A strong liking for analysis and data in rigorous environments
Curious, open-minded and motivated to learn new things
Ability to understand business needs and constraints
Proactivity
Team player and ability to build professional relationships
Ability to handle confidential information with care and discretion

Additional information
Location: 15 rue Félix Mangini, 69009 LYON (this position is not eligible to full-remote working)
Contract: full-time internship for 6 months (no work-study program)
Start date: January 2026
Remuneration: dependent on degree level (from €1000 up to €1,200 per month)
