- France Location Paris Salary €28,466 Please be aware that to qualify for our Internship Placement, students must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines) and returning to their studies after the 12 month placement concludes. Purpose of the Internship: The Global Internship Programme is an exciting opportunity to get first-hand experience in a world-class marketing organisation. Set up under the auspices of the Good Friday Agreement, Tourism Ireland plays an important role as a North South body for a key industry on the island of Ireland, serving both Northern Ireland and Ireland. Key Results Area Events planning – Leisure and Business Tourism. Support the Business Development executive with events logistics and assist with planning for Business to Business (B2B) events in France including regional events, workshops, and virtual events. Liaise with external consultants to assist with the logistics of events as required. Trade Communications
- Leisure and Business Tourism. Act as point of contact in the team for Tourism Ireland’s webinar programme. Act as point person in the team for updates to French Trade website. Support team with the production of e-newsletters and results analysis. Trade Communications Trade, Industry & Business Tourism account management. Support the B2B team with the CRM system
- ensuring it is regularly updated. Assist with campaign activation – sourcing images, logos and relevant information to ensure the campaign live date meets deadlines. Administrative Support. Provide assistance in preparing Purchase Orders and updating our Marketing Reporting System (MARS). Ensure adherence to the company’s GDPR compliance policies and procedures in respect of your area of work. Represent Tourism Ireland at various industry, press and corporate events. Such other duties as the company may from time to time reasonably require. Note: This role will involve unsocial hours and travel on the island of Ireland.

The post-holder will also be expected to represent Tourism Ireland at various industry, press and corporate functions and events. The Person The successful intern will possess the following experience, knowledge and skills, competencies, and qualifications: Essential Minimum B2 in oral and written French, is required. Fluent English, both oral and written, is required. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines will be considered). Must be returning to complete studies after the completion of the placement. The legal right to live and work in Germany for the full duration of the programme. Proficient in MS Office.
