Hierarchical, Europe Operations Project Manager
Main Responsibilities
The Retail Operations Intern works closely with the Operations Manager and support the retail network for the EMEA Region, helping the retail and operations teams at delivering operational excellence and providing exceptional experience to our internal and external clients.
The main areas of focus are stock management, compliance to internal standards operating procedures, and participation to retail projects (retail organization and digital transformation).
Missions Description
Compliance to internal Standard Operating Procedures :
Coordinate monthly internal controlling process, challenge compliance over internal policies and procedures, and prepare executive summaries for the local managementSupport in store visits with the preset checklist, align with the retail team on findings and required corrective actions, prepare detailed reports for the local management, and follow-up on actions plansPrepare monthly reports and perform investigations and analysis on sales, cash, stock management, KPIs, IT etc.Support EMEA Operations Manager trainings on policies & processes
Participation To Retail Projects
Participate to the preparation, set-up and run of retail projects (Payments, Approval App, Uniform, Better Work Together, D Retail Book etc.)Support all zones on the POS system relating to stock and till transactions (evolutions deployment, communication, and follow-up)Manage the EMEA planning for retail project development with the EMEA Operations Manager
Stock Management & Logistics
Coordinate the preparation of annual inventories in stores and warehouses across the region and report results and findings to the local managementPrepare and participate to annual inventories with the EMEA Operation Manager (EOL Baby, Trunk Show Warehouse, etc...)Support EMEA Operations Teams on day-to-day operations, closely monitor KPIs related to stock movements, stock adjustments, sales etc.
Others
Participate to the France Family Sale organization and support on the till’s operations on site (2 times per year)Support for the EMEA Operations Committee organization with EMEA Operation Manager
Update various Retail Operations Procedures.
Profil
Higher education (bac +4/5) in engineering, business or equivalent university.
Ideally, you have already completed an internship in supply chain or merchandising.
You have a good level of professional English and fluent French.
You are fluent in Excel (V search, TCD, macros) and Powerpoint.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions (e.g.
Power BI) would be a plus.
Analytical skills, results orientation and ability to propose solutions adapted to the issues raised.
Ability to work autonomously and transparently (raise alerts proactively).
Ability to prioritize and organize.
Good interpersonal skills, good representation skills and ability to communicate with different departments (both in French and English).
Ability to work cross-functionally with warehouses and retail teams.
Logical, results-oriented and conscientious.
