Greenly was founded in 2019 by Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud with one mission: make carbon management as essential as financial management.
Today, we are a global leader in carbon accounting, proudly B-Corp certified and part of the French Tech 120.
Our climate suite combines smart data collection with intuitive automation, helping companies measure, reduce, and report their emissions with ease — supported at every step by our in-house climate experts.
More than 3,500 companies in 20+ countries use Greenly to manage their climate strategy: from carbon assessments and life-cycle analyses to SBTi trajectories and compliance with CSRD and CBAM.
We are now a team of 200+ people from 40+ nationalities, based in Paris, London, Barcelona, and New York.
To date, we’ve tracked over 200 million tons of CO₂ through our platform.
Our next milestone: 10,000 clients and one billion tons of CO2 under management.

About the role
At Greenly, we are on a mission to lead the way in carbon reduction and sustainability.
As a Climate Expert Intern, you’ll become an integral part of our dynamic Climate Experts team, working hand in hand with our valued customers to drive positive change and shape the future of climate strategy.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management: Gather, organize, clean, and validate data related to carbon emissions, sustainability initiatives, and climate trends to ensure data integrity
Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools to identify patterns, trends, and derive insights from complex datasets related to climate change and sustainability
Research & Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest developments in climate science, data analysis methods, and sustainability metrics through workshops, webinars, and courses
Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with the Climate Experts team, ensuring alignment on data needs and analysis goals while regularly updating on progress and challenges
Tool & Software Management: Master and suggest improvements for the data analytics software or tools used within the company to enhance the analytical process
Skills needed to succeed
Top-tier Education: Holding a Master’s degree in engineering, technical studies, or other relevant advanced studies
Drive for Change: You’re deeply committed to a role that makes a real difference in combating climate change
Problem Solver: Armed with an analytical brain, you tackle challenges head-on, always hunting for inventive solutions
Tech Pro: Whether it’s Excel, Python, SQL, or other databases, your data analysis and automation skills are sharp and ready.
Language Wizard: Fluent in both French and English, and if you speak more languages, that’s a big plus! ️
