Greenly was founded in 2019 by Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud with one mission: make carbon management as essential as financial management.
Today, we are a global leader in carbon accounting, proudly B-Corp certified and part of the French Tech 120.
Our climate suite combines smart data collection with intuitive automation, helping companies measure, reduce, and report their emissions with ease — supported at every step by our in-house climate experts.
More than 3,500 companies in 20+ countries use Greenly to manage their climate strategy: from carbon assessments and life-cycle analyses to SBTi trajectories and compliance with CSRD and CBAM.
We are now a team of 200+ people from 40+ nationalities, based in Paris, London, Barcelona, and New York.
To date, we’ve tracked over 200 million tons of CO₂ through our platform.

About the role
At Greenly, we are on a mission to lead the way in carbon reduction and sustainability.
As a Data Scientist Intern, you’ll become an integral part of our dynamic Data Scientist team, working hand in hand with our valued customers to drive positive change and shape the future of climate strategy.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Knowledge base management: You will join the Team in charge of improving the Supply Chain of our clients.
Hence, Greenly has done a great deal of effort to gather high quality carbon data for the suppliers of our clients.
Your first task will be to continue this effort and improve our supplier database through a continuous improvement of our processes and algorithms
Machine Learning / Generative AI / Automations: At Greenly, we are building an AI powered platform where AI is available at every step to make the carbon calculation easier, more precise and more intuitive.
Your will contribute to these efforts by improving existing algorithms and developing new ways to build on AI to improve our carbon management software.
Business intelligence: You will work on real data and monitor the performance of your algorithms and user interactions to ensure that our AI and automations translate in real benefits for clients
Skills needed to succeed
Top-tier Education: Holding a Master’s degree in engineering, technical studies, or other relevant advanced studies to conclude an educational cursus marked by excellence
Drive for Change: You’re deeply committed to a role that makes a real difference in combating climate change
Problem Solver: Armed with an analytical brain, you tackle challenges head-on, always hunting for inventive solutions
Tech Pro: Your are bilingual in Python and SQL.
Knowledge of typescript/javascript/React is a bonus
