Full-stack developer internship Exotrail develops in-orbit servicing vehicles, SpaceVan, for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geostationary Orbit (GEO) missions. The Avionics team is responsible for developing the onboard software running on the flight computers and ensuring its reliability and robustness.

Testing is performed on hardware benches reproducing the satellite on the ground. To support the Software Verification & Validation activities, we are looking for a Full-Stack Developer Intern to develop modern tools used daily by the engineering teams. This is a 6-month internship, starting January–March 2026, based in our Toulouse facilities. What you’ll do Your main mission will be to design and develop a full-stack application that improves how we operate and test the satellite bench. Main mission — Monitoring, control & configuration tool You will build a user-friendly GUI application (desktop or web) allowing engineers to: - Monitor the health and status of equipment in the bench - Power on/off hardware elements - Manage and switch between multiple equipment configurations (several missions use the same bench) - Ensure configuration consistency and traceability This tool will quickly become a central part of the team’s workflow, and you’ll have full ownership of its design and architecture. Secondary missions - Develop a logging system to collect and visualize events and messages from the bench - Provide support for improvements on existing validation tools - Contribute to internal tooling and process optimization What we’re looking for We are looking for a Master’s / Bac+4 or Bac+5 student in computer science or software engineering, with interest and skills in: - Full-stack development (frontend + backend) - Python and/or TypeScript - GUI frameworks or web technologies (Qt, React, Vue, FastAPI, Node.js…) - Basic understanding of communication protocols (UART, CAN, RS-485…) Bonus skills - Electronics - Satellite or aerospace knowledge - Linux environments - Knowledge of Docker or CI/CD What we value - Proactivity - Curiosity - Team spirit - Ownership mindset
