Role overview and key missions :
As a System Engineer Intern, you will contribute to two areas of focus:
1.
Acting as the dedicated systems engineer for a specific domain (e.g.
propulsion, structure) to:
Implement functional modelling
Follow up on the evolutions of the subsystem and component (from requirements to interfaces)
2.
Participating in the integration of the systems perspective into the V-cycle development process:
Conduct bibliographic research on system engineering organisation in an industrial structure
Participating in the development of a system approach according to the needs.
Enhancements to the Elison tool :
Update documentation and user manuals.
Integrate new geometries of flanges (including Rotscher cone) and explore coupling with seal components.
Add composite materials capabilities.
Update and validate the thermomechanical model embedded in Elison.
Update the material library.
Develop a friction coefficient database for screws (with possible integration to a short selection list).
Improve the user interface and explore adding an automated screenshot/report generation tool.
Development of a sealing sizing tool :
Participate in creating a calculation tool dedicated to axial and radial sealing design.
Experimental characterization :
Support torque–tension relationship characterization tests.
Internship Details :
