Within the Group, you will join the Group Risk Management P&C
Within this Department, you will be part of the Cat Man-made & Business Risks team
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll do
The Cyber Risk Modelling intern will be expected to:
Dive into the Model (written in R),
Take part to R&D activities (challenge and update existing stochastic scenarios, review model parameters, ensure the convergence of model outputs…).
Enhance and industrialize the code,
Contribute to any technical analysis that may be required.
To carry out these missions, the Cyber Risk Modeller will be supported with:
Exposure reporting tool, called Clymene.
This reporting tool integrates very granular data on AXA policies and covers, for most of the countries in which it operates, and are the cornerstone of Cyber Modelling.
Existing Cyber scenarios, that can be refined or used as inspirations to build the new scenarios.
Strong and diversified expertise on P&C, either on Underwriting, Claims management, or Actuarial science within the Group.
This position is a great opportunity to gain a solid understanding of both Cyber insurance business and modelling in a regulatory and strategic context within a leading international Group.
YOUR PROFILE
- Academic background
Actuary, Master’s in Mathematics or Statistics, Engineer, Quant
Experience
A first experience in an actuarial department (Risk modelling, pricing or reserving) is a plus
Hard skills
Expert in probability, statistics, risk theory, actuarial science
Very strong analytical/quantitative skills
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise way
Cyber risk knowledge is a plus but is not mandatory
Soft skills
Ability to work in a team, good interpersonal skills, flexibility/adaptability
Rigor, motivation, autonomy, proactivity
Curiosity and open-mindedness
Languages
Professional level in English
