As part of the legal department of Ipsen, the legal trainee will be responsible for actively assisting the Legal Assets & Brands team.
The Legal Assets & Brands team provides legal support to various corporate level teams of the Ipsen's group involved in the various phases of our product’s lifecycle.
Main responsibilities / job expectations
Main tasks:
Assist in providing legal advice to various corporate teams across therapeutics areas (early development, R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial and Global Product Strategy) by conducting legal research on topics such as pharmaceutical regulations, competition law, intellectual property and data privacy
Participate in the drafting, negotiation and review of a variety of contracts throughout the asset lifecycle, including confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, services agreements, license agreement, etc.
Operational Support in Legal Processes: contribute to contract management and legal operations by helping to update standard templates and streamline processes (competition law guidance, contract guidance, patient data use)
Knowledge, abilities & experience
Education / Certifications:/Experience: At least Master 2 level in health law or commercial law with previous experience in health law firm or pharmaceutical industry.
Languages: Good level of English is required (writing and speaking)
Key Technical Competencies Required
• CFRPA is a plus but not required.
