Could you be the full-time Intern in Train Operations & System Maintenance we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your energy and electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute to improving the performance of rail operations and system maintenance, making a direct impact on the energy efficiency and sustainability of our solutions.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with performance improvement teams, participate in technical and strategic projects, and play a key role in optimizing existing tools.
You’ll specifically take care of industrializing an electrical energy consumption simulator, drafting a user manual, and creating training materials, but also testing and improving the performance of existing tools to meet dimensioning needs.
We’ll look to you for:
Analyzing and enhancing an existing electrical energy consumption simulator developed in Excel
Verifying the accuracy of calculation formulas to meet dimensioning needs
Optimizing tool ergonomics for ease of use
Testing use cases to identify and resolve usability and calculation issues
Updating and drafting a comprehensive and user-friendly manual
Creating educational training materials to support tool adoption
Collaborating with teams in France and internationally (no travel required)
Contributing to the dissemination of best practices in energy consumption and sustainability

Currently pursuing a Master 1 degree, ideally in a gap year, in a field related to energy or electrical engineering
Experience or understanding of energy consumption calculation tools
Proficiency in Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Excel VBA, and Python
Knowledge of CSR standards, including ISO 50001 and ISO 14001
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Autonomy, proactivity, and strong interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders
