GRATALOUP MUSEUM CONTEMPORARY ART CHEVREUSE

The first museum dedicated to contemporary painting within the territory of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park, the Musée GRATALOUP has become an essential destination for contemporary art.

Thanks to scenography tailored to each exhibition, it offers visitors a truly innovative approach to presenting artworks.

This season, the museum presents large-scale photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand in its garden, in dialogue with GRATALOUP’s symbolic paintings in the chapel.

An immersive journey blending visual beauty and ecological commitment, where water becomes a symbol of life, transformation, and light. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own headphones to fully enjoy the podcasts and to conclude their visit with a sound and light show projected onto the vaulted ceilings of the priory.
